Hi, I’m Tom.

I design, produce and host
events, workshops and processes
that allow for
new encounters
between people, topics and disciplines.

I have a background in arts and cultural management and was a producer for the innovative classical music festival Montforter Zwischentöne in Austria for four years. In this role, I not only gained expertise in producing complex event formats but also developed an approach to event design that follows the principles of resonance, interdisciplinarity, and involving the ordinary. I’ve since extended this way of working to all of my projects.

I grew up queer in a rural area of Austria and became an activist with GoWest when I was only a teenager. I learned to respond to oppression by being radically gentle. The spaces, campaigns and workshops I created there were bold and effective yet shaped by mutual empowerment, dialogue across differences and kindness. 

I care about the people I work with, their lived realities and ideas. I am careful. I listen closely, communicate clearly, and value others' time. I am practiced in the hard work and nuances required to organize big, special things together. But people also tell me I have a remarkable talent for keeping people near the heart of any project.

Ultimately, I don’t just want people to feel seen or want to be involved.
I want them to be seen, and to know that they are a part of something.
